Soprano Ruth Jenkins graduated in 2008 from the University of Cambridge where she studied Land Economy and was a choral scholar of Jesus College Chapel Choir for three years. She notably sang the soprano solo on the NAXOS recording of Charles Wood’s St. Mark Passion and gave several principal performances in the university opera society. |

Stephen Burrows studied Music at Bristol University where he was both University Organ Scholar and a Choral Scholar in the Cathedral Choir. He studies singing with Nicholas Clapton and has also been taught by Stephen Taylor, Ghislaine Morgan and Ashley Stafford. |

Christina Sampson studied Music at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and later on the ENO vocal performance course and Trinity College of Music. She was awarded a distinction for postgraduate studies at Guildhall School of Music and Drama last year. She currently studies with John Evans and Jonathan Papp. |

Jonathan Stork, Tenor, was brought up in Cookham-Upon-Thames, Berkshire, where he sung from an early age with his local church choir and with the Berkshire Youth Choir. Whilst at University Jonathan was a founding member of the Choral Scholarship Scheme at the Church of St. Mary’s Church, Nottingham, under the directorship of John Keys. He still sings regularly with the same choir and frequently deputises at Lincoln Cathedral as a lay-clerk. |

James Birchall began his musical education as a chorister at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. He was then a music scholar at Winchester College and a choral scholar at St John’s College, Cambridge, where he studied with David Lowe. James is currently studying with George Gordon on the opera course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama following studies with Ryland Davies and Jonathan Papp at the Royal Academy of Music. |
